Our purpose here at Zion is to tell people about our Lord Jesus Christ and to share with them His good news. We trust that we are saved only by God's grace in Jesus
Christ our Savior as we learn in God's holy Word.
If you haven't met Him yet, we want to introduce you to our Savior and encourage you to place your trust in Him. He promises joy and peace to all who follow Him.
Whether you are new to the area or a long time resident who does not yet have a church home, we invite you to join us every Sunday morning for the worship of His name. You are welcome to participate with us in all the blessings of a Christian community. We strive to be a light shining in the darkness, bringing comfort to those who are hurting and peace to those who have never known it.

About Zion Lutheran Church
Zion Lutheran, affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, has served Christ and the mid-Valley community for over one hundred years, since its founding in Corvallis in 1905. We strive to be faithful followers of Christ, honoring His Word and seeking to reflect His love and grace toward others as we gather together to comfort the found and find the lost.
Our service to the community includes a commitment to faithful, excellent education through our on-campus Zion Lutheran Christian School, providing preschool–8th grade elementary education. Zion's Early Learning Center has programs for children from 6 weeks old and up.
You'll find us small enough to be friendly and large enough to provide strong community fellowship. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!

Zion’s LWML is a group for Lutheran Women who enjoy doing service projects in the community and supporting
missions around the world. We also meet monthly for small group Bible study and Christian fellowship. Some members of our LWML attend retreats and Rallies with others
from Oregon and around the country to share ideas and encourage one another. If you are a woman, and go to church at Zion, you are welcome to join this group!
This group meets every Tuesday morning in the “White House” to sew quilts for missions. Since this group began in 1989, Zion quilters have completed over 13,150
beautiful quilts that have been distributed locally, nationally and worldwide. If you would like to visit or join this group they will welcome you any Tuesday morning
from 9am to noon. There is lots of work to be done. Sewing skills are not required.
This casual group meets once a month (usually the 3rd Saturday) for breakfast at Tommy’s Restaurant, downtown Corvallis on 4th Street. All guys are welcome – young
and old. Join them for breakfast or just have coffee and stay for the Bible study or a guest speaker.
Retirees get together the 1st Tuesday of every month in the Fireside Room to the side of the Sanctuary for a casual potluck and sometimes a movie. Pastor opens with a
short devotion, birthdays are celebrated, and sometimes they have a visit and a report from the school Principal or the Director of the Early Learning Center. This
group knows how to have a great potluck, including dessert! Once a year in December the Seniors host a catered Christmas Dinner. The Student Leadership group from
Zion school does the serving, and the students in grades K-4 sing Christmas songs. It is a festive way to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Our church choir is open to High School students and adults who enjoy singing praises to God. No experience is necessary, just a joyful spirit. The choir practices
on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm and on Sunday mornings at 8:30. If you play trumpet, flute, piano, saxophone or another instrument your talent is also appreciated.
